What is Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy?
The BioTE method uses custom-compounded pellets (approximately the size of a grain of rice) containing testosterone and estrogen. These bioidentical hormones restore optimal levels and are placed subcutaneously in the buttocks, releasing a continuous stream of hormones. Pellets dissolve slowly and are re-administered every 4-6 months depending on the patient.
